Crabbing in Hoodsport, Washington

Hoodsport, Washington is a great little community with so much to offer!  We opted to spend the afternoon crabbing and we managed to score a couple of Dungeness Crabs and Red Rock Crabs that were keepers and made for a delicious dinner.

We put our crab pots in right off the dock at the Port of Hoodsport!  Waiting for them little buggers to crawl into the pots, we set up a couple of relaxing lawn chairs right on the dock and just soaked in the beauty of the surrounding area views and the cool breeze of Hoods Canal.

Around 6pm on Saturday evening, there is a small group of people that meet in the park adjacent to the dock and they play in a drum circle.  Talk about relaxing...by the time they finished (around 7:30) the sun was going down and the skies were beautiful shades of pink, purple and orange.

Relaxation, beautiful views, soothing sounds of drum beats and dinner...heck yeah!!! Sign me up for another day like this day!!!!
